How TO Install VNI Fonts

If you use Netscape Navigator, please upgrade your browser.

To enable your web browser to read dynamc fonts:

Click on "Options" to pull down the submenu.
Now select "General Preferences" option.
Select "Fonts" panel.
Click on "Use document-specified fonts, including Dynamic Fonts"

If you use MS Internet Explorer (versions 3.x and 4.x):

Click on "View" to pull down the submenu.
Now select "Options..." option.
Select "General" panel.
Click on "Font Settings..." button.
At the pulldown menu "Propotional font", select "VNI-Times".
At the pulldown menu "Fixed-width font", select "VNI-Times".
Click the "OK" button to accept the choices and exit.



If you use American Online (AOL) browsers:

AOL's own browser does not support customized fonts. To view VNI-based documents, follow these steps:

- Make sure you are running AOL version 3.0, or later. If you are running AOL 2.5, you will have to download and install AOL's winsock.dll.
- Download and install Netscape's Navigator.
- Configure your Netscape's Navigator to read dynamic font as above.

Now log on to AOL, and run Netscape Navigator as your browser.



To install VNI-Times font on Your Computer:

Download VNI-Times and store them
in a temporary temporary directory on your hard disk, such as C:\TEMP,
vnifont.gif (1364 bytes)

To install those VNI fonts into your Windows 3.x system:

Run Control Panel -- Fonts
Select "Install New Fonts"
Select directory C:\TEMP, and then, the VNI fonts

Similarly, for Windows 95 & NT, run: My Computer ==> Control Panel ==> Fonts ==> File
==> Install New Fonts (Select VNI Fonts)
