Stewed Vegetarian Chicken With Ginseng


I.     Recipe name: Stewed Vegetarian Chicken With Ginseng

II.     Ingredients:

  1. 2 or 3 ginseng roots*, soaked overnight

  2. 200g vegetarian chicken**, thawed, cut into small pieces and fried in a frying pan

  3. 3 dried shiitake mushroom*, washed, with the stems removed

  4. Approximately 20 lycium berries*, washed and drained

III.     Seasonings:

  1. 1 teaspoon salt

IV.     Cooking utensils:

  1. Clay pot

V.     Directions:

  1. Put all the ingredients into the clay pot, add 4 cups boiling water, and stew for 2 hours. Serve.
