Fried Vegetarian Veal With Echalion Shallots Onion


I.     Recipe name: Fried Vegetarian Veal with Echalion Shallots Onion

II.      Ingredients:

  1. 1 whole echalion shallots onion* (another type of shallots, but long and large)

  2. 8 pieces vegetarian veal**

  3. 1 green bell pepper

  4. 1 red bell pepper

III.      Sauce ingredients:

  1. 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil

  2. 1 teaspoon salt

  3. 1 teaspoon brown sugar

  4. 1 Tablespoon soy sauce

  5. 1 teaspoon sesame oil 

  6. 1 teaspoon black pepper

IV.      Directions:

  1. Remove the root and tough  portions of the echalion shallots onion. Cut into bite-sized pieces.

(Echalion shallots onion can be substituted with  ½ onion or  ½ cabbage)

  1. Remove the seeds from the red and green bell pepper and slice.

  2. Pan-fry the vegetarian veal until fragrant.

  3. Add the bell pepper cubes and the echalion shallots onion, stir-fry quickly.

  4. Add the sauce ingredients and sprinkle a little water until fully cooked.
