A quack doctor always used to boast about his godlike healing ability. Then one day an old man came to ask him, “How many people have you cured?” And the doctor replied, “Whoever comes and listens to me will definitely be cured!” So the old man frowned and rebuked him, saying, “Have you forgotten the time when you told my grandson to take your medicine for a year and he’d be cured? He died after taking your prescription for only three months!”Then the quack doctor exclaimed, “Ah! He didn’t listen to me! I told him to take the medicine for a year, but he took it for only three months. Since he didn’t follow my instructions and finish the course of medication, naturally he died!”
