(3) Combine shredded vegetarian meat and shredded mushroom stalk in a mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Divide the mixture into 10 even portions (or make into any size to your liking). Roll each portion into a ball and then press down into round shape. Place into a pan for steaming and modify the shape of each steak. You can press stripes on the surface using the back of a knife.
(4) Place the pan in a pot of boiling water and steam over boiling water for 7 minutes until cooked. The steaks can be served directly after steaming, or fry the steaks until golden and sprinkle with tomato sauce or barbecue sauce. The steaks can also sliced and stir-fried with vegetables.
