Planting Trees to Help Restore the Original Beauty of the Natural Ecosystem (Part II)

By Ulaanbaatar News Group (Originally in Mongolian)

In News #177, we reported that Master had assigned a contribution of US$20,000 for us to plant trees in Mongolia to restore the original beauty of the natural ecosystem. In October, last year, we had already spent MNT$2,500,000 (US$2,200) to plant 30,000 trees. Since Mongolia is a dry country, we have limited time for planting, only in autumn and spring, from the middle of April to the beginning of May. By Master’s grace we planted another 32,000 trees in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia during this spring.

With the cooperation of the Environmental Department of the City Mayor’s Office, 2,000 trees were planted in the area near the dried river “Dund gol” in order for it to have water and regenerate a green zone in Ulaanbaatar. After the river had dried, it became very polluted and contained a lot of garbage. We cleaned the area with the help of our Association members including Convenient Method practitioners and their friends and children, and then we planted 2,000 trees there.

Another 30,000 trees were planted in the Zuunsalaa area. We also built fences to protect the trees from livestock.

After the planting, it rains often. We are really happy and thank God that Hes has been watering the trees for us!
